In accordance to the APTLD Constitution, The management of the Association shall be vested in the Board and the instrumentalities thereof. The Board may exercise all such powers of the Association and do on behalf of the Association all such acts as may be exercised and done by the Association which are required either by statute or by the Constitution to be exercised by the Association. The Board shall comprise eight (8) Board Members, four (4) of whom shall be principal office bearers holding the positions of: Chairman; Senior Vice Chairman; Secretary; and Treasurer

Mr. LIM Choon Sai has been the Advisor to the Singapore Network Information Centre (SGNIC) Pte Ltd (.sg ccTLD) since October 2015. Prior to this, he had been the General Manager for SGNIC and the Singapore representative at the ICANN Government Advisory Committee (GAC) since 2001.
During his tenure as the GM of SGNIC, he steered the implementation of several key projects. These include revamping the registry operation into a shared registry system with multiple accredited registrars, implementing the launch of second level domain names and dispute resolution policy and procedure, collaborating with government agencies for one-stop service for registration of .sg names with company names, and auctioning of single character and golden numeric names.
Mr. Lim has been elected as the Chairman of APTLD Board since 2013. He guided the improvement of agenda of biannual members' meeting to cover more areas of interest to members with a focus to help developing ccTLDs through fellowship and capacity building training workshops. With the relentless effort of the GM, APTLD ordinary and associate members grow by 2 and 4 respectively to 42 and 13 as of 1 Dec 2016.
Mr Lim holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Singapore and an MBA from Brunel University, UK. He views that technology evolution and the launch of many new gTLDs have impacted ccTLDs in some ways and that the cc community may need to find new ways of doing things in the changed environment to sustain the growth of their registries. He hopes to be able to continue serving the APTLD Board and Members to strengthen the collaborative effort of Members in sharing views and ideas and in making collective decisions to deal with issues facing the cc community in this region.

Prof. Dias graduated from the University of Moratuwa in 1985 and was awarded a doctorate in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Davis in 1992.
In addition to being a the Domain Registrar and CEO of the LK Domain Registry, he is also a Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Moratuwa.
He has initiated several new services, including TechCERT - Sri Lanka's first and foremost computer security readiness team, Lanka Certify - a certification authority, IDNs, DNSsec, Personal Domain Names, VerifiedWeb, etc.
He has assisted many public and private organisations to build, secure, and make best use of their computer systems. He was inducted to the Internet Hall of Fame in 2013.
As an APTLD board member, Prof. Dias will work with the ccTLD community in Asia to face the challenges of the 21st century.
Name: Min Jung Park

Job title: General Researcher
Minjung Park is currently in charge of international relations and Internet governance at Korea Internet & Security Agency(KISA), the registry for .kr and .hanguk(Korean ccTLD).
Since 2004, Minjung has been participating in ICANN and APTLD meetings as the representative of KISA. As .kr representative, she has been actively involved in various IDN related working groups including IDN ccTLD fast-track and universal acceptance since 2005 and was the drafter of "Korea's Position Paper on IDNs" which was submitted to ICANN in 2006. Minjung is also deeply involved in Internet governance activities including IANA transition and actively participated in drafting "Korean Community's Comments on CWG-IANA" in 2015 and "Korean Community's Comments on CCWG -Accountability reports" in 2016.
In recent years, she has been engaged in developing and implementing capacity building programs for the local Korean community and Asia Pacific community. She was in charge of the inaugural Asia Pacific Internet Governance Academy(APIGA), which was held in success in Seoul, in partnership with, but not limited to, APTLD and many countries from the Asia Pacific region.
She received a Master of International Studies(M.I.S) from the Graduate School of International Studies at Ewha Womans University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature and a Bachelor of Business Administration, both from Ewha Womans University.

In the past, as a Project Manager he contributed to the ICANN's IDN program to develop Internationalized Domain Names and was behind successful implementation of a number of Arabic-Script IDNs. He also served to the community as a Registry Service Evaluation Panelist at ICANN. As well, he contributed to a number of DNS-related working groups at IETF and ICANN and actively participated in the development of the IDNA2008 protocol.

I have lived on the South Pacific Island for 40 years where I am a senior advocate in the High Court and joint owner of a tourist property.
Co-founder of the Internet Users Society of Niue and administrative contact [now the IUSN Foundation] and as a board member for several terms I have endeavored to promote Pacific island states participation by supporting fellowship and training schemes offered by APTLD. My goal is to ensure that the organization continues to maintain stability for its members along with progressive credibility with global, regional and NGO internet agencies.

Erhan Karabardak is a senior lawyer, and trademark attorney. Erhan is recognised as a leading trademark and domain name professional and is regularly engaged to provide expert advice and commentary on trademark and domain name issues. He acts for a range of clients both Australian and internationally based, including well-known global brands. With over 20 years' experience.
He recognised as a leading expert in domain name law and has run some of the leading cases in this area. Erhan has represented some of the world's largest domain name portfolio holders, and has served as a director and board member of the .au Domain Administration (auDA), Australia's domain name regulator since 2012, where he is currently Deputy Chairman.

Job title: Vice Executive Director
Ai-Chin Lu is the Vice Executive Director at Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC), managing Taiwan's ccTLDs, .tw and .台灣. Ai-Chin has been associated with TWNIC since 1998. She played a major role in creating the .tw/.台灣 registration guidelines and led the coordination of domain name registration system, and DN Dispute Resolution Services. She also serves as the Co-Secretary of the Chinese Domain Name Consortium (CDNC). She is also a member of the Joint Engineering Team. Before joining to TWNIC, Ai-Chin worked at the Computer Center of the Ministry of Education and the Institute for Information Industry. She holds M.Sc. in Computer Science from University of Missouri-Rolla in USA.
Name: Xiao Zhang

Ms. Xiao Zhang is the Vice President of CNNIC, who is in charge of general management of business operation development for .CN, .中国 (China) and New gTLDs, and also in charge of industry research and international relations for CNNIC. After joining CNNIC, Ms. Zhang has been promoting the development and deployment of Internet infrastructure in China. She is also responsible for international liaison and cooperation, and has been actively supporting CNNIC to develop comprehensive international relationships and cooperation framework within ICANN and other domain name international communities and organizations.
Ms. Zhang has been engaged in ICT policy research for a long time. She is focused on digital issues like Digital Economy and Big Data. During June 2006 and June 2007, she served in the World Bank in Washington DC as Asia Coordinator in ICT development. She has successfully organized the Digital-China Forum and Global Internet Governance Forum in the previous World Internet Conferences (Wuzhen Summit). She is widely connected to the global organizations. She was actively involved in the Digital Economy issue in G20 Summit of 2016. She has good connections with private sector in China like the BAT giant internet companies. Ms. Zhang is active in social activities and she serves as a member of Youth Union of Industry in China.
